Hello,
My Name is Rodrigo Madrigal and I am and Independent Studies teacher for the San Diego County Office of Education Juvenile Court and Community Schools. I have been working for the SDCOE since 1997. I have a California Teaching Credential/BCLAD (Spanish Emphasis) and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have my office located in San Marcos but I also cover the areas of Escondido, Vista, and Valley Center. I work to help students who, for whatever reason, cannot be in a classroom everyday. Such situations include lack of transportation, lack of childcare for students who are parents, conflicts wth work schedules for students who are employed, etc. This program is designed to be flexible and meet the needs of our students who refuse to give up on obtaining their diplomas and, yet, provide a rigorous curriculm that will prepare them for what comes after high school.
